Artwork Guidelines
Our artwork guidelines ensure that every design is perfectly prepared, protecting the integrity of your artwork and allowing us to deliver a flawless final product every time.
Do You Have Vector Artwork?
If you have vector artwork available, please email it to sales@customflair.co.za.
If you don’t have vector artwork, no stress at all — simply send us the best-quality image of your logo and we will gladly convert it into vector format for you.
We’ll ensure your logo is optimised for branding, meets all print requirements, and looks its absolute best. If you have a single, straightforward logo or design that requires redrawing, this service will be done free of charge. Please note that additional time may be required for artwork redrawing.
Preferred Vector File Formats
Accepted vector file formats include:
.ai, .eps, .pdf, and .cdr
Vector artwork is our preferred format as it consists of clean, scalable lines and defined colour areas. This allows us to resize your artwork without loss of quality and make necessary adjustments — such as colour refinements — to ensure a sharp, professional print finish.
Raster Image File Formats
Accepted raster image formats include:
.jpeg and .png
Please note that raster images are not ideal for printing, as they may lose quality when resized. Where possible, we recommend converting raster images into vector format to achieve the best possible print results.
Pantone Colours
Pantone colours form part of the Pantone Matching System (PMS), a universal colour reference system that allows us to reproduce your branding colours consistently across all products.
While Pantone colours provide an accurate guide, please note that colours may vary slightly depending on screen calibration, materials, and printing processes. If you are unsure about colour selection, feel free to contact us — we’re always happy to assist.
Font Names & Curved Fonts
A font is a specific set of characters with a defined style and appearance. If your artwork includes text, please provide us with the name of the font used.
For vector artwork, we recommend converting text into outlines or shapes (commonly referred to as curved fonts). This ensures that text displays correctly and prevents font substitution issues during production.
